so, I was just doing some house work and in the background, my phone, sitting on the arm of the nearby couch, was playing YouTube. after it finished playing a video about disliked video game characters that I stopped paying attention to 75% of the way through, another video autoplayed... I have no idea what the video is about, very rambling, apparently part 3 of something, but I did catch the phrase "with help from famed MLP artist braeburned" and that kinda threw me.

Just picked up a copy of Paper Mario™: The Thousand-Year Door for the Nintendo® Switch™ and it came with a set of fridge magnets.

rip old girl

felt amazing when i found out she was still going strong back when she was 16

i'm happy that she lead a long and comfortable life, but i'd be lying if i said that it didn't still make me sad knowing we lost yet another legend

If I were to start a project to upload Nifty-Senpai's warriorsproject designs, where they try to draw a design for every Warriors character, I should pool those, right?

...This blog has been running for 10 years and there are over a thousand named Warriors characters.

Oh yeah, tried my first flash conversion earlier with an animation that's very dear to me as it's one of the earliest furry things I found. I was hooked on this animation when I was younger.

I'm not too experienced with this stuff but I think after messing a lot with the settings and commands I did alright?

(LOL thumbnail)

somehow totally forgot the assignment and linked to a BLACK leopard/otter hybrid, and not a SNOW leopard

As @Kemonophonic: says the mixing side of it is called panning. The musical side of it depends on the notes, if they are both the same note but at different registers (ie: I and VIII) it's just called "playing octaves" but if the notes are different (ie: I and iii) it's called "Harmonising".

Yeah, that's it. Harmonising was the word I was looking for. I thought there was something more to it than just the panning.

Is there a limit on URLs in an artist entry? It mentions one for names, but not URLs. However I've been trying to add some more URLs to falvie and it doesn't work. It says updated and doesn't give an error but the URLs aren't added.

(The first one did work, but I had more URLs to add, it won't let me add any of the new ones </3)

It's a bit of a pain when an artist has many profiles and aliases.

Does anyone know if there's a music term when there's an instrument playing a higher pitch on one side (Like the left or right side of my earphones for example) and lower pitch on the other? I've noticed this for years now in songs and video game music, but didn't know if there was a name for the technique.

Unfortunately I don't think there's any way to get it back. I tried using the Wayback Machine but the last time your account was saved there, was a year ago. Wayback doesn't update pages like this very often so short of a late archive.org queue for May 2024 showing up, it may be gone for good.

Maybe you could use the set function to curate a list of your top tier favorites?

thanks for going out of your way to check for me, appreciate it.

i didn't know there was a set function. i'll check it out

This post is uploaded by someone completely annonymous.
Not even user_[num]. It's just blank.

I've been on a mad hunt going through old posts and looking at their edit history, and it seems like all posts between post #13 to post #20714 are just like that: totally blank initial tagger and uploader

the edit history doesn't start attributing an uploader until post #20715 which was attributed to user #6 (who when you look at their uploads; has uploaded post #88, but it just doesn't attribute them in the edits)

My custom css says it was uploaded by anomynous, i wonder if that's their name or there was a typo

There's also post #3000000, where it seems the tag history for the upload got erased, and the second person to edit it got all the credit in the post history

I have a question for the mods (or non mods idc)
How do you figure out if an account user is underage?
For example https://e621.net/users/1470835

The ONLY thing i would see as a clue would be his name "middlesbruh01" which could mean hes in middle school

Is this enough suspicion to ban someone?
Were there some other obvious clues i missed?

Its an genuine question because your work on here baffles me.

For me, I find them coz they sometimes write their age somewhere on their e6 bio (surprisingly,) or on their other social media.

In response to blip #126913

@somethingedgey: often times this info comes to staff's attention from more private sources, outside of what's immediately and publicly available on the user's page

dmail interactions, an associated discord account, staff even caught some kids from the "are you 18 or older" question in their staff drives. I doubt mods sussed out random habit's of mid's typing and their ban more likely came from some responsible mutual or them letting out some more directly incriminating info directly to a mod

For all I know, the name could just refer to the town of Middlesbrough in the UK. Which apparently is pronounced like that. The 01 could be a birth year, as well as anything else. But if it was, that'd mean the person is actually of age (I was born in 02, and I'm 21 right now). Maybe they commented something that indicated that they were underage in some way, idk.

But yeah, not enough clues for me to conclusively tell this person's age either.

@Kemonophonic: Hey, did you check out the recommendations for the dance music I sent you already? Thanks for the tip, but I'm already in a bit of jetlag with another song I was going to edit for a joke called "Listen To What The Man Said." Don't know why, since I already got an idea for how I'll edit the song for the lyrics.

I've had a thought swirling in my head for a while now. Has anyone with the skill to ever made or considered making a trap/femboy track using the instrumental of Oh Boy from Cam'ron or sampling Rose Royce or Mary J Blige with their songs "I'm Going Down"? I was considering making somthing like that with the perspective being a guy in denial talking to a friend discussing how he's not gay dating a dude who dresses like a woman, but I don't have any experience to make a beat or for enough lyrics. I'm not requesting for anything, just curious if there's something like what I decribed out there. I know for sure there's at least one trap remix involving traps somewhere on just YouTube alone.
