Implicate iphone to smartphone, and smartphone to cellphone. The cellphone -> phone implication already exists.
Or if you don't like the smartphone tag, alias it to cellphone and imply iphone to cellphone. I like the first solution more, but I've always favored more tags rather than fewer. Either way, an image with an iphone should definitely contain the cellphone tag.
I kinda like the idea of aliasing smartphone to cellphone personally.

The issue with aliasing iphone and smartphones away, is that iphones are by itself iconic (basically for smartphones, it's iphone, or non-iphone), and smartphones look VERY different from traditional cellphones. (remember those bricks?)

No-one said anything about aliasing iphone away.
But I do favour the idea of aliasing smartphone to cellphone.
After all, they are both mobile phones.
