You know, after clicking around on google, there's still not much that says what SCPs actually are. :V There's the wiki which refuses to say anything out of character (not helpful). It's also a home dining and furniture website and a means of transferring computer files.
Luckily for me, I think a friend told me about this. It's a bunch of short horror stories, right?
would it have killed anyone just to say that? :V

Yes, because it's not true.
Well than I still have no idea what SCPs are then because no one's given a straight answer.
Man, this whole SCP thing is starting to become a trend....

video games where nothing happens
they were made in 5 minutes each and are supposed to be scary

They are short science-fiction flavored stories, sometimes intended to be creepy, other times just indended to be cool.

This is what I like most about the foundation. They hint at being a regular fiction site but do so in a way that never breaks forth wall, so to speak. Sure some of the SCP's are a little dull but think of it like this: most scientific reports usually are very dull and it gives it a higher sense of realism.
Some, however, are just funny.
Maybe, but there's a difference between "Scientific dull" and "Bad writing dull"...
In any case, I don't have time to read all the reports anyway....
I like the one with all the gears and shit! I forgot what it was called though. I remember it had 3 settings and you shouldn't put living things inside.
Updated with new post, in comic form.

I find your rendition of 682 to be entirely too cute. Nicely done though. I'm interested in some of the yet unclassified SCP's such as the entity within SCP-432
Thank you, somehow I got the idea from a commissioner of that
subject. And it troubled me that only two people had tried to
turn SCP-682 into an anthro-fied version.
Keep tabs on the comic, made to be senseless unless followed. :D
Oh, don;t get me wrong. My view personal imagined view of 682 has no bearing on the way it was portrayed in such a cute scalie manner. I find what you've done to be wonderfully creative and a great addition to the SCP fandom.
I see, thank you still for appreciating it.
I'll be working on the next comic showing why
SCP-682 became "that" form.

Ah, that would alleviate the confusion I had about said form. I look forward to it. Have you contributed any entries to the site? Also, why do you dislike Dr. Bright? :)

Well, that question can be answered on the next comic.
For now, an update to this thread: http://e621.net/post/show/219069/comic-drrebeccastone
I find you and your SCP remind me a lot of The Bottleship.
Y'know, my initial opinion on SCP was lukewarm at best.
But then I spent two days reading the archives. And am now playing in a SCP-based GURPS game.
Holy good goddamn. I love this shit. I just wish the community wasn't so elitist.

Similarities can be distinguished, except that one is in space.
Now starting the web comic!

The thing is I read the link and knew what it was, yet I still clicked it and raged hard.
There was no reason for me to click it in the first place, I know precisely what SCPs are
gotta go fast

All the SCPs I've read so far are incredibly dull.
