That's not a bug, it's just an obscure thing about ident. If it seemed to lock up there, it might take 10-15 seconds to connect after that. Just be patient and it should connect.

Okay, it's a problem with usernames with parentheses in them. I'll fix it later, but if you want to connect for now, you can grab an IRC client from this page, and set it to connect to irc.furnet.org, channel #e621:
Okay, next update will filter out invalid characters (so you'd connect as Jayfeather) instead of refusing to connect.

IRC Problem?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not so I decided not to put it in the bug fix section, but I was trying to go onto the IRC but as it is trying to connect or ident or something it says it can't because "the username is prefixed with ~
Not sure if it's just me or not...but help would be greatly appreciated
