Topic: [APPROVED] Tag implication: rape_by_proxy -> rape

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Assuming rape_by_proxy is a valid tag, implying rape should be valid. However, I'm trying to figure out how forced_partners fits into all of this, and thinking about it hurts my brain... Should we alias rape_by_proxy to forced_partners, instead? Or have rape_by_proxy imply forced_partners? Or continue to keep them separate, and I'm overthinking it? Confusing edge cases like the proxy rapists being unaware that they're engaging in sex with a non-consenting partner (e.g. post #3963334) make things even more confusing to think about, but maybe only because I'm overthinking things.

I'd probably compare results of those searches...
rape_by_proxy -forced_partners/-rape_by_proxy forced_partners

I think the biggest difference in those is the intent? I guess it should be implication?

I think forced_partners can apply to situations where the characters aren't having sex, seems like currently that just extends to characters being forced to kiss, but theoretically could be applied to any romantic situation performed under duress, through nonconsensual bondage, or similar.

whereas rape_by_proxy is always a sexual act.

Then should rape by proxy imply forced partners?
