Reason: Workaround tags for an already aliased tag [ dracorex -> pachycephalosaurus ]. Dracorex is synonymous with Pachycephalosaurus.
The bulk update request #8035 is pending approval.
create alias stygimoloch (28) -> pachycephalosaurus (174)
Reason: Adding another to this BUR, Stygimoloch is considered a synonym of Pachycephalosaurus as of 2009.
From the article Moonlie-Comet mentions:
We propose that Dracorex hogwartsia, Stygimoloch spinifer and Pachycephalosaurus wyomingensis are the same taxon and represent an ontogenetic series united by shared morphology and increasing skull length.
In other words, they're believed to be different life stages of the same animal. Since Pachycephalosaurus was the first described and named, by international rules, the others are to be aliased to it.
