Topic: Tag implication: psychodid -> dipteran

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The Psychodids aren't psychotic katydids. They're a type of fly called drain flies, sink flies, filter flies, sewer flies, or sewer gnats. Dipterans are just flies in general.

The implication is good, but I'd suggest aliasing psychodid to drain fly and dipteran to true_fly. The current tag names are fine, but I'm sure people would prefer to know what those critters are at a glance. There is a species of drain fly sometimes simply known as the drain fly (Clogmia albipunctata), but if that particular species ever needs to be tagged, it can be called common_drain_flyor bathroom_moth_fly. Using true_fly would be in line with all our other true_[insert critter here] tags, such as true_fox.
