Topic: Default Search Query Params

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Basically, I want to have a default search query in my account that can both act as a blacklist but also a whitelist

It wouldn't be something complicated maybe a few artist whitelists lets say as an example

~advos ~pastel_mamba ~puro_(changed) -gore -scalie order:score date:month

Upon a search this query would be appended to any other existing query I have or just be left like this in the case of a null search, so for example if I decided to search for a specific artist I can just search their name and the query would become

~advos ~pastel_mamba ~puro_(changed) -gore -scalie order:score date:month artist_nr1

Is there something like this? Wiki doesn't seem to mention it, also while implementing this through a 3rd party extension seems rather easy I would like to avoid that as I tend to view this site on mobile (for obvious reasons) and this is already getting to complicated for a essentially better organized list of smut

you can just add - tags to your blacklist and it'll hide everything that isn't that. so like -female in the blacklist will hide all posts that lack female characters.

Thing is, it is done client side, so if I have restrictive tags for example a whitelist for only set a of artists, it would cause the result pages to be empty or contain only a few posts per page, this would also cause unnecessary querying both in my case having to click next and for E6 servers having to compute and reorder tuples just for them to be discarded by the client side blacklist.

Also to add to this auto ordering operations can't be specified in a blacklist

You can keep the favourite search combination on your bio.
No need to type every time.

To add onto what I said, you can put {{search query}} in your bio so you can access it when viewing your profile. You can modify the search afterwards

That's what Im trying to do, or have it done by default, the problem is its kinda hard to type out a 100 char query with one hand thats also holding the phone
