I think it's that the they are mad at the ubreon cuz it's friends with the eevee.

I'm thinking that umbreon helping the Eevee's is probably their older sister/brother, and the other pokemon don't like that he/she is helping the eevees, because their not shadow pokemon. Or something like that.

ah yes that must surely be the theme here
