That being said, if you don't like something, you may as well move on. Why bother commenting? e621 has something for everyone, so maybe your energy would be better spent finding something you DO like. :P

If you don't like it, then bring it into photoshop, re-do the speech bubbles so they're all talking about drinking beer and playing world of warcraft and castually mentioning how cool your character (who is incidentally not on screen) is so awesome.

Probably "too old" in the sense that he's too old for easy indoctrination/brainwashing/"training." In other words it won't be as easy to get him to swallow bullshit. Not necessarily "too old" as in "too old for the customer's tastes.
