indeed, it has potential, but only if they do the acting right. Looks like they got a good set and lighting job down. I suspect they found someone with camera experience. They should also consider mounting microphones in the fursuit heads or nobody will be able to hear them. I suspect though they probably already know this or if they dont, this movie isnt going to be worth watching, even if its free.

The costumes, look stupid. Their mouths are always slightly open, that's creepy. This was obviously not an attempt to make a movie about anthropomorphic creatures, but about furries roleplaying in costume.
They've even used furry names instead of real names on the credits.
uuugh.
well then, say THAT, instead of just calling them assholes. there is a huge difference between criticism and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Sheesh, kids these days, no common sense whatsoever. Infact, now that Ive heard your issues with this, I agree that the film has more to clean up than just the acting. Though the reason their mouths are open all the time probably relates to the way the jaw is fitted. If its fitted well enough, just having your jaw slack while breathing would cause the mouths to open a fair bit.
the names issue.... yes, that is an issue. If they want to be taken seriously by furs AND everyone else, they should get used to using their REAL names in any major group production such as this. Hell, look at timothy albee's kaze movie. he didnt use some alias for it, and it did get quite a bit of publicity(many conventions and groups outside furry actually showcased it).
as for the costumes being stupid.... this just goes back to you not knowing the difference between criticism and constructive criticism. vote down, have a nice day.
I understand why they used their furry names.
I wouldn't use my real name on the Internet, either.
Maybe a real-sounding pseudonym, like "Hans Schickelgruber", but never my real name.
I think I'd only watch this if the suit's mouths moved when, and if, they talk... you know, like in the same respects to 'Rocky Horror Picture Show', just to say that I have watched it; despite it's... quality.
And again people who have no knowledge about anything start to judge a piece of work. At least those people making that movie try to create something on their own instead of only sitting behind a keyboard and throwing together words. Nobody actually forces anybody to see that movie, and i bet that the makers dont give a shit about what some morons on a board like this say. in the end, those comments have at least one good thing, its easier to filter out whos the real idiot in the fandom and who is not. and yes this Comment here was written with the explicit purpose of hitting people.
I know the plot, I know the effects, I know the dialogue. I know that the costumes do not fit the criteria for selling to people that this is a world full of talking animals. The way they move is clumsy, the costumes aren't form-fitted. An audience who is not furry who watches this will not understand why a perfectly normal story that deals with humanistic issues is full of people in animal costumes. It's arbitrary and dosen't affect the plot. This is a hurf durf production, the people who made it are hurf durf for using fursona names as credits. The people who defend this tripe are apologetics who will defend *anything* furry. Because in the furry fandom, the content doesn't have to be good, it just has to be furry. Or porn.
To be honest, I believe only the fox costume should be refit. The goat is the best, black wolf is all right, "Stoelbank" could use a few more details on the clothing, yet generally all of these do meet some lower fantasy film standard. I wish them good filming.
Have it. Watched it. Liked it. I wasn't expecting Lord of the Rings quality. Expecting that from a low budget film company that probably used a lot of private resources to get the job done is asinine, but for what they had it was terrific. Make sure you watch after the credits for a special scene.

It would've been cooler if they could make it into 3D instead. IMS...

If they're truly serious, I might keep watching. It doesn't look that bad for such a low-budget film...
