Combat suit is engineering outfit, laser is a cutting tool... I'd still be more scared of the necros

Engineering suit, combat suit. In video games, it's ALL the same. Just ask Gordon Freeman.

And that laser gun is as close to a cutting tool as a crowbar is to an object used to pry things open with in HL2.
