I've never cared about the alchemy in the Elderscrolls Games, so I don't get this ...

To make the joke not funny any more:
In TES, 'food' type ingredients are given certain effects in alchemy and tend to run in a type (so for instance, most meat has Restore Fatigue effects among others). So cheese has the same effect. Cheese wedges and cheese wheels are both items and both have the same effects, but since they're different 'items' you can put cheese and cheese together to get the resulting alchemical effect of...not cheese.

and then there's morrowind alchemy which is best described by as omnipotence.

I didn't feel like finding someone to sell the diamonds I stole to.
So I just ate the diamonds.
Crunchy.

Yep. Netch leather and something else very common. Boost Int score to the millions and make levitation potions. Good times

The definition of just wallowing in internets, you have enough to give ten away to that comment... (I know it's all a matter of opinion, but when it comes to me, I like to critically analyze jokes before giving a compliment... Yeah, I think I just made myself 'that guy' again.)
