That is most definitely a Dead Space suit, at least in resemblance. Although, if you go by the game, that guy has no hp. I'm also not sure what is up with the butt canister though. Kinda makes things awkward. Though I'm assuming it's holding a tail.

It would hold a tail. Yes. The fact that it's just the base of it suggests he has a bobbed tail or none at all.
