I was in a place very much like this in a nightmare once.
But those creatures weren't there. It was only scary because there was like a random floating virus or like radiation cloud or poisonous gas or something I was trying to escape and everything was all fleshy and easy to get lost in.

could this place possibly be depicting one of the levels of hell? mass bodies fused together in an endless orgy ect
