The 'striping' is called cast shadows. She's under what I would assume to be a palm of sorts.

I know what shadows are... I meant the suit itself. It looks weird like they forgot to color it.

Derp! I didn't see the forest for the trees! If your monitor gamma is too far off you'll definitely miss the subtle shading at the edges. I didn't notice until I saw this image on a monitor I hadn't yet calibrated! makes it look like her suit is sprayed on. XD
