The coathanger abortion scene?

I remember that machine being a lot more advanced than a coathanger. That thing could wash, dry, iron, starch, sterilize, and hang your clothes. Not to mention give yourself a c-section.

Not a c-section. That's the one damn thing it _wouldn't_ do, given it was programmed for wrinkly old farts. But REMOVE GODDAMN O SHI FOREIGN BODY it could do. :}

It did do it though. Granted it wasn't programmed at first to give a c-sec, that doesn't mean it couldn't do it because it did. That's like saying a kid can't ride a bicycle even after he's been taught :F He could, he can, he did.

I think you might be confused. You seem to be arguing with something I didn't say. ;) I was saying it _was_ capable of doing "remove foreign body", and that turned out to be a relatively acceptable substitute for a caesarean. :}
I gotta say, though, somebody else pointed something out to me about that surgery. Shaw had most, if not all, of her deltoids severed. Those aren't technically _absolutely_ necessary for standing, locomotion, and posture, but they help a lot. Between the loss of them, and the pain of the incision and staples...it's a damn miracle she could move around. Whatever she was pumping herself full of must've been some grade-A future "Vitamin V", or Shaw was damn nigh Navy Seal hardcore.
