Most Scratchtavia shipfics focus on the differences between their musical styles. Shame how rare the counterpoint is presented: The similarities. It's very common for techno and electronica fans to also be fans of classical music. The concepts of 'mathematical purity' are present in both genres. Always have been.

The crossover is unidirectional; classical music fans who are also fans of techno and electronica are rare. Hm... Suddenly I'm imagining Vinyl Scratch as a fan of Octavia who goes to all her recitals, long before they actually meet. Haven't seen that perspective represented in fics.

Almost sounds like complaining, but since you put so much thought into it maybe you can create that fanfic and problem solved?

Hell I've been thiking of doing my own fan fic involving a blank flank, so if nobody else does it then I might just work on it, I like both characters anyway.

I like love both genres from bach to Bassnectar. to paganini to daft punk n_n
