You didn't pay attention at school, did you?
From below the water surface, boats and surfers look like fishes or whales, that's why sharks do attack them. After all, sharks are predators, but they do not hunt for humans actively

Actually, surfers look like turtles from below more than anything. And sharks will hunt children if hungry enough, and in the event that blood is nearby, which would drive them in a feeding frenzy.

The two exceptions to this are the Bull Shark, which are nasty and vicious and do actively attack humans, and Whale Sharks, which don't eat people or attack them whatsoever.

Also, the person you quoted said nothing about boats and surfers, and that there are cases of divers being attacked.

I didn't say that ACTIVELY hunt them. I said they attack them. I never once implied they attack humans because they are human. But they still attack huamns.
