It's a standard mythological Chimera, often depicted as animals with the heads of different creatures jutting out from their bodies like some twisted experiment.

From before the more modernized depictions of Chimeras, such as Griffons

well it is a chimera it is not a standard chimera. a standard chimera has the head of a lion and the head of a goat as well as it's tail being replaced by the head of a snake.

wouldn't matter, all we know its a mix of something with another. Reasons they just dub things as chimeras in the first place.

You can have human chimeras too. Apparently it's a lot more common than previously thought.
