Sonic has 6 levels of speed.... Sub-Sonic, Super Sonic, Hyper Sonic, Ultra Sonic, Trans-Sonic, and Warp Sonic. I don't remember the exact order, and the list had poor illustrations where he was racing a cheetah, a man, a car, and a jet. But I do remember the two ends of the spectrum... Sub-Sonic is Sonic,s lowest speed (though technically walking and regular running would actually be his lowest speeds) the speed that he can move at, when he is slowed by water. which IS faster than the speed of light. His highest speed is Warp Sonic and it's faster than the speed of light, or technically electricity, as that illustration portrayed him racing a light switch with him passing the lamp, before it could activate, after the switch had been flipped. The very definition of "super sonic speed, is speed that is superior to sonic speed, which is the speed of sound. So Supersonic speed is even faster than the speed of sound, which by what you people say, is faster than a bullet. And, I'm Pretty sure that Super Sonic is one of Sonic's m9iddle speeds, with Ultra sonic being hear, geasing from the names... Hyper Sonic is probavbly below Super Sonic...

Also while a laser is actual light and would travel at light speed, we don't really know if a blaster uses actual lasers, or plasma bolts, which wouldn't necessarily travel as fast as light. Then again when playing as Fox on foot, when you use a blaster it sends out a burst, rather than a continuous beam and you have to press the button repeatedly, to keep firing, and can't just hold the button down, suggesting that the blaster does indeed use bullets, or plasma bolts. long story short... Sonic can definitely out run it... With very little effort, of it's not a laser, and a bit of effort, of it is. Also he doesn't need to out run it, just dodge it.
