Am I the only one that's surprised that a furry would go see a furry movie and be appalled by porn of it?

But the main problem is that she Taught another wolf to howl, in which howling is like a mateing ritual or something in the pacts, anyways, the male in this image isent even in the movie, but the pine-cone is only here because in the movie she "The female here" used one as a chew toy :o

What howling? The whole movie was mostly a bunch of terrible singing. The characters were such shitty resemblance to wolves, it was almost insulting. That was the point of the picture.
You'll notice Snoww's fursona is modeled after an actual wolf, unlike the movie character

agreed, the whole howl-singing thing was way over the top and a bit TOO childish. As for the appearances of the characters, I didnt have THAT much of a problem with it as it very well could have just been the style of the artist who drew the concept sketches. It *IS* a kid's movie afterall.
Actually what I found most objectionable was the fact that they totally FUCKED the whole hierarchy of the wolfpack. First, there is generally only one or two omegas in a pack, usually only one. When there are more than that, usually the other one leaves the pack and becomes a lone wolf(which is excessively rare). Omegas do serve the purpose of being the punching bags and also the mischeif-makers, so they were correct on that notion. Two, most of these wolves they applied the notion of Alphas or Omegas, were actually betas, which are generally the vast majority of the pack and are considered to simply be there as hunters. Three, alphas do not grow up to be an alpha. Alpha "traits" do develop during pup-hood but they do not go to "alpha training" to become an alpha. A wolf that will go alpha will start out aggressive, dominant and will show immediate signs of being a good hunter(another accurate piece here). Eventually the pup will grow up and finally assert his/her dominance over the current alphas and will take control. There are however, only two alphas in the pack, the male and the female. Some of this might seem outrageous, but its actually true(or at least far more true than the above mentioned flick). There are some other details I left out due to laziness, but the general truth is in there.
Overall, the movie set out to educate children that wolves are fun and not something you want to waste with a machinegun. I at least give it credit for accomplishing the second notion, but they completely failed to educate kids properly about wolves. The problem here is that eventually kids will grow up with the notion that howling is a form of singing to each other, alphas go to school while omegas are irresponsible troublemakers, and wolf-packs will actually unite and form peace-treaties and alliances. This is one last untruth. Wolf packs actually split when they get too large, so this situation would never happen, but that particular one didn't bother me that much.

Yes, I made a typo on the internet. Yes I know it's Garth. It sucks that this version is out there for everyone to poke fun at. But who knows? Maybe the pine-cone has muffled her voice?
