Hey guys, regardless of what you may have seen proposed in the News recently, our Tag What You See rule is still unchanged from this here. Remember, the only recent change was to allow using external information for tagging character NAMES only, NOT gender or virtually anything else. PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE RULE! Thanks! :)

General: alpha channel

An 8-bit layer of a 32-bit graphics model. It determines the colour and transparency of pixels by mixing the 8-bit red, green and blue (RGB) layers to the desired effect.
Fairly important in animation during background changes. Often used with png's and gif's to produce a transparent background and should be tagged such.
