General: circumcised
Images or animations depicting a male character whose penis appears to be circumcised, where the foreskin covering the glans of the penis has been surgically removed or is otherwise not present.
The surgery is performed for a variety of reasons, such as medical necessity; a common genetic defect causes the foreskin to grow too small on the penis, making full erection painful or impossible to achieve. Certain medical studies suggest that circumcision may even help prevent the spread of sexually-transmitted diseases to some extent, though this is debated.
The other biggest cause of circumcision is religious beliefs; for example, all male Hebrew children are required to be circumcised shortly after birth, and the practice is also followed by many Christians.
A fully erect penis looks the same whether it is circumcised or uncircumcised. The difference is normally only apparent in the flaccid state.
