General: muzzle
Subjects wearing muzzles (to constrain the mouth). Muzzles can work in various ways, typically by restraining the jaw from moving, thus preventing actions such as biting or barking. Muzzles will generally have an appearance that covers the entire snout (muzzle) but can also be as simple as a ring around the snout. A muzzle is not a type of gag unless it is combined with one.
You can also use the verb form, and tag with muzzled.
For subjects having an elongated or animal-like face, see snout.
