The term "trap" is generally used for one of two purposes.
First, pictures or animations involving characters literally falling prey to booby traps of some description.
Second, and more common in sexual circles, the term "trap" is applied to characters who are exceptionally skilled at cross-dressing, the implication being that they could trick people attracted to the gender they pretend to be into putting the moves on them, believing them to be the genuine article.
