Why did staff think removing the name of the uploader on a post was a good thing?
Now y'all be dealing with people flagging "paysite" content that's been uploaded by the artist who made it lol...

Privacy I think.... it would be nice if people had the option to have their name show, it would help stop that thing from happening

Just reminder that we have had impersonators here, registering with artists name and leaking their patreon material.
For this useage case, users should've already checked artist wiki for verified artist account on the site (some artist have completely seperate account name from their artist name) and the uploader can be checked from said artist profile page and/or tag/desc history.

...additionally people were already flagging artist uploads as paid material even before the change :V
If the change is bad in some manner that can be discussed, but as someone who handles flags daily don't see this as issue that has raised or lowered by it.
