New here. Sitting here wondering why you can't upload any images from your computer as a PfP. FA has it, and so does Deviantart. But none of that is possible here. Why?

i can think of one reason: so they're subject to the same rules and moderation process; avoiding the additional overhead of policing peoples' profile pictures separately
