There are such incredible pieces of artwork on this site. I'm amazed that work from this artist, of such quality, have an average score in the teens after months and months and months. Yet slap up another slipshod cartoon of a thick penis or a girl with her legs spread, and with no regard to quality at all, it will have a score of 25+ in a day -- and sometimes 100+ in hours.

E621 is not a porn site; I realize now that most of its user base is simply a porn audience.

the way i see it is:
as much as i appreciate good artistry, i just don't have time for browsing art that isn't fappable

if it was like music, where i could work on something else at the same time, then i'd be more interested
