I agree with Kemono. Be happy with where you’re at right now. In all honesty, being single kinda means you can afford things all you want without repercussions and with no arguing or nagging to the point where your relationship turns sour and regret. My bloodline is basically the end of a long novel for me where I’m at. πŸ˜…

I feel you. I can never hold down a relationship either (long distance or otherwise), probably because I'm so socially awkward. lol Luckily I'm an introvert so being alone doesn't generally bother me but being single does suck sometimes.

Again, true happiness isn't found in someone else- you need to find ways to bring the joy that you already have out. I know the meme saying "you just need to touch grass" is overplayed, but I think there is some truth in that having real life hobbies can positively effect your mental health: get involved in your community, audition for an opera or two, sign up for some volunteer work. Who knows, you might just find that your special someone is a lot closer than you think.
