Question for anyone in the Blips:
I understand that the brain gets bored, but these are very elaborate daydreams. What’s your input?

When I get bored @ work, I am problematic, and can be a troublmeaker; Coyote, much?

Thankfully I have changed locations within my company to be closer to home, be more busy (my Dog, do they need my help),
and to hopefully squeeze out a bit more commission.

So .. do your daydreams involve fatalities?

Question for anyone in the Blips:

Do you ever find yourself extremely immersed in a daydream, to the point that you realize afterwards that nothing is really happening?

I’ve had this too much lately, and I’ve grown somewhat concerned. I understand that the brain gets bored, but these are very elaborate daydreams. What’s your input?

Decided to find all my Bionicle instructions that I have on hand in the apartment and they add up to quite a stack, Lhikan for scale. It doesn't even include all the small sets, I put those in A4-sleeves. This is just a big chunk of the medium and big sets from 2001-2006 (and like 3 sets from 2007-2008)

It's true, Isn't it, Dood?

This slice of the biz has to be stressful from time to time,
Whether you're a single peep facing a tidal wave of posts to be tagged

While you doods are already doing a dynamite job treating peeps & Posts
as fairly as possible, Nothing wrong with some encouragement, Ya know?

I love Tanqueray No. Ten! Have you ever tried Sloe or Old Tom Gin?

Cannot say that I have; should I?

I try to not have too much alcohol in the house because ... you know ... I will drink it ... so I pretty much only get a neat gin or a G&T when I am out somewhere nice

and with the pandemic, that has been quite some time

idek whats going on with people i think i find love it goes well then everything screws up i guess thats the problem with long distance relationships or im just meant to die alone

Again, true happiness isn't found in someone else- you need to find ways to bring the joy that you already have out. I know the meme saying "you just need to touch grass" is overplayed, but I think there is some truth in that having real life hobbies can positively effect your mental health: get involved in your community, audition for an opera or two, sign up for some volunteer work. Who knows, you might just find that your special someone is a lot closer than you think.

I feel you. I can never hold down a relationship either (long distance or otherwise), probably because I'm so socially awkward. lol Luckily I'm an introvert so being alone doesn't generally bother me but being single does suck sometimes.
I wish you luck man, hopefully the next one's the charm. :)

thanks i spoke to her she was just having a really bad day shes feeling better today though

I agree with Kemono. Be happy with where you’re at right now. In all honesty, being single kinda means you can afford things all you want without repercussions and with no arguing or nagging to the point where your relationship turns sour and regret. My bloodline is basically the end of a long novel for me where I’m at. 😅
