@Kemonophonic: well single life is great and all but I personally want someone to share this great life with. Kinda like a companion in a Bethesda game but more of a touchy feely, cuddly wuddly snuggy bear- type relationship.

@bipface: that might be something. On average, more men DO tend to have social-hindering disabilities than women so many may be too shy. That might also explain why women are so cautious about getting guys cause there a reasonable chance that they don't understand the emotional intimacy at all or that they are just plain creeps.

That still does not explain me though. I'm as charismatic as can be and tend to be smooth with words and my character is easy-going. A lot of times I just come out and ask and always get shot down by girls. (But guys tend to beg me to be with them.)

@Dragonlord2328: same. I want someone to give and take love with. Like you said, holding hands, etc. But its got to be a female. I don't even care if we "get down" as long as she is there.

I really don't get why guys think it's the end of the world if they don't have a girlfriend. I'm single and I couldn't be happier.

well i can't speak for anyone else but over the years the loneliness has really eroded my state of mind

The reason at least for me is that its nice just to have someone to love and hold hands and stuff im single and get depressed about it mainly because my ex was a cheater

What's the explanation then? Why do guys struggle to get a gf when it seems like most girls are being courted to left and right?

if i knew the answer then i'd have a gf myself, lol

honestly i do find myself thinking about this a bit too; including wondering whether this is a real trend or just the way it appears from my limited viewport to the wider world.
if it is real then my best guess is that perhaps girls are, on average, more outgoing and sociable, and men more reclusive …
maybe one day i'll step outside and try to get to the bottom of this

Anyone know of a noncanonical comic series about an alternate mlp where the only difference is twilight sent the real pinkie back to the mirror pond and kept a fake one on mistake?

To be taken with a grain of salt. Sexuality is complicated

Studies in anthropologie: The world has more men than women. So that must be why women seem more valuable in society. Which might explain why women seem to have their pick of the litter in relationships and why men have such a hard time getting the right one, often settling for: A- just plain settling or B- another guy.(bisexuality)

Note: further study on how the ratio might effect sexuality in BOTH genders remains to be done.

especially when there's no significant improvement over the original(s) — mixing&matching variations, editing out piercings and background characters, etc. — like, why bother? particularly, why bother sharing it publicly and risk disgruntling the artist

on the other hand i have seen some edits which turn an average, unpolished picture into a masterpiece, so i wouldn't want to ban edits entirely …

I think it's cool in cases where the artist knows and is accepting and where it either adds or removes lewdness.

It's like I've been enlightened, but more like endarkened. I just don't care about anything anymore. I've always been like Maud from mlp or Mae like on Avatar, waiting for a Pinkie Pie or a Tai Li type to sweep me off my feet but I've given up. I've given up on everything, from love to life. My past is nothing but a bunch of regrets and I'm just so very tired. I don't want to commit suicide or anything but I don't wish to live either. I'm just a blob waiting to die and rot away.

I don't understand why it's considered acceptable behavior to alter an artist's copyrighted work and post it on e621. Even if the person who changes the image gives credit to the original artist, that artist may not know about the edit, may not approve of it, or may not want their name on it. It's not their work as they originally envisioned and created it. Current example, with admission of changes in the description:

@French_Fried: my favorite author is h.p. lovecraft, no pirates but a few if his stories involved the sea. I also enjoy Sherlock Holmes and of course Edgar Allan Poe.

I just recently picked up a book called scary stories for young foxes which has been pretty fun so far, it also says it's inspired by lovecraft and Bram Stoker so that's cool.

Welp I finally got permission to upload Death Valet. I'm just waiting on AFOF to get the links pasted to promote the patreon on each page and I then have the right to post them.

On a Discord server, I said:
one day imma make a virus that hooks on the GPU to add a single red pixel or shift colors as if the panel was faulty >:V
or better yet, an always visible 1x1 window

And I have done it since a few days ago (it's not a virus though)

That is true if you are visiting the site on your desktop, the mobile version of Chrome still doesn't have the functionality to use add-ons.
I was focused on the mobile version of the site and it's "vanilla" functionality to change the button, because I rarely visit the site using my desktop PC.

lol, how many blips is this gonna go on for

I’m on the hunt for good books. Anybody got recommendations? Short ones, long ones, favorites, least favorites?

Just read the Aubrey/Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian. Greatest novel series of all time, and that's not just my opinion.

That should keep you occupied for a while.

I don't work with code or scripts. I don't even know where I would put that. Surely we don't have to recode the site for ourselves for such a basic thing? I was hoping for an addition to the settings pages. That wouldn't work, because the code snipped above is JavaScript and the custom CSS Box can only be used to apply custom CSS styles.
The JavaScript code above can be executed in the browser's Developer console (F12), it would only change the destination of the 'nav-pools-link' element so it routes to "/pools".

The main problem with the code snipped is, that the changes made to the HTML Element will be lost after reloading or routing to another page.
So to answer the original question, there is no trivial way to change the destination of a link on the site.

I'm getting back into art, I'm gonna use different types of lines (thick or thin) for my art.
I mostly upload art to my twitter first then to FA. I've been paying for commissions for the past few weeks now too btw.
