Wwwwwwwelp, it's off to work. More bullshitery of working overtime, I hope not.

I better AT LEAST get over $750.00 in my paycheck instead of my average $625.00. If not, then shit's gonna go down.

@Routganan: It isn't a matter of opinion-- they both serve very different purposes. You can say you like apples better than oranges, yes, but comparing them is otherwise pointless. Too few similarities and there's nothing to compare.

@Routganan: Honestly it's nice to have both. Not that there aren't better alternatives than FA, but I would presumably not have anywhere to show off my character if e621 were my only option.

Tomorrow I'm going on a 5-day vacation to St. Croix. I've never been on a sunny, sandy beach before.

Knowing my luck, as soon as I get back, I'll discover a million things I've missed in just 5 days.

@Fenrick: just to add to this it means more than not having a vulnerability. Ships need to have so many space-consuming redundancies to prevent powder explosions. The Navy has the right idea pursuing this.

@Routganan: as far as how it looks its a stones throw away from looking like 4chan. But 4chan is easier to navigate. Though all of these sites are cancer. 4chan is like brain cancer. Fa is skin cancer... And e6... We are prostate cancer.

Hey is there a tag for when two dongs are crossed? And if not can a crossing_swords tag be added?

@NotMeNotYou: One of the biggest and most underrated advantages is the fact that you would have nonexplosive ammunition. While the weapon would still overheat, overheating wouldn't lead to cooking off, and for AFVs/ships, no risk of powder explosions.

@NotMeNotYou: Lasers would, however, be very useful for applications like intercepting missiles, which is a huge goal of the tech

They are also used for things like igniting drugrunners' boats. You can start a fire from miles away without being obvious

@2B: From what I can find... Which is literally only one comment this was made by someone named sebb1114. But upon looking into the name I just found a Russian site hosting the YouTube video and its comments.

@Chameloshi: On the other hand I fully expect those lasers to play a huge role in the creation of plasma weapons, use a laser to create the plasma, then use a rail gun mechanism to accelerate the plasma.

Though I'm unsure how useful those will be.

The fact that there are handheld laser pointers that are strong enough to burn stuff gives me hope that scientists will be able to invent a working laser rifle.
