My Brain initially read it like the darn door in The Walking Dead "Don't In, Cum Side" then I saw the dashes and it made more sense.

    If you're doing work in an area where the weather can affect it at any moment, I'd recommend one of those battery boxes that keep the PC running for five to ten minutes afterwards so you can safely shut your stuff down without a total power loss. I think your monitor would plug into it as well so you can see what you're doing.

  • unfortunately when I turned on the computer, the project file was corrupt and would no longer open, nor would the backups that Blender itself makes.

    Oh damn, I feel you man, had this exact thing happen to me and lost 2 weeks of work that day =u=
