including some where no one is named Tod, just tagged that way because there is a fox in image. (apparently tod is a Scottish and northern English term for male fox)

as for tod = fox, yep. In middle english, 'toddle' was the word for fox, and often used as a nickname or placename. Tod or todd is british, primarily for male foxes.. as the typical male-fox word of "dog" is rather easily mixed up. :)
