I'm in the process of requesting permission to post and posting colored versions of others Line Art to E621.
Meanwhile, I've gathered the courage to post my own works on FurAffinity.

Initially, I kinda had the idea that I'd wait for someone else to post my work here... but now I'm thinking I should just go ahead and post it.
Bit stuck on that idea though;
Is it in bad taste to post your own works here?
I know some people might post there work directly here, but mine is already on FA.

It could be just nervousness on my part that's making me second guess things. Seeing as how I only just started posting works at all, however, I'd still like to check.

As a side note; I have an MLP short 'comic' (series of images with dialog connecting them). Are there any heads up about the pool system that I should know about or is it all self explanatory.

If it meets e621 standards, then hell no. It is never in bad taste to upload your own work here. Plenty of users on e621, Contributor-ranked users especially, upload their work on e621.

There's a bunch of artists who upload their own stuff here, it's not frowned upon at all. :)

Pooling is easy enough. You only have to make a new pool, then keep adding posts to it by clicking "Add to pool" next to a post and selecting your pool from the menu (it will remember your last setting for ease of use when doing multiple images). Alternatively, you can immediately add the post upon uploading by including a pool:0000 tag, the pool number (like 6823 here) of course replacing the zeroes.

Whatever you do, do not leave your art up any longer than a few days or so.

Post it up, steal this site's traffic, then remove it.

You keep insisting on that in every related thread. Nobody's actually listened to your negativity so far, what makes you think this guy will?

ok, I've posted till I ran out of posting ability for a bit. I'll be honest though, I'm starting to run out of steam(energy) after a long day and it started to show a few posts in. I forgot to tag myself the artist on a few of them. Trying to catch my mistakes, but I assume others will catch my slack and rectify them if I miss them, right?
(almost finished, but I'm almost thinking I should wait till I'm more clear headed to post the last two.)

I'll go have a look at them, see if anything's missing.

nah, actually artists are encouraged to do so as long as the content is not human only and it has some sort of artistic value. trust me, i have been posting my own shit here for years.

I don't beg, I just allow donations based on what people want to give me. I've gotten a number of donations and people wanting to commission me, because my art isn't crappy, unlike whatever you could probably make.

I think people like you just get really upset when they see someone making money online doing something that isn't really "work."
