Now, I really hate myself for needing to ask this question here on the forum, since you guys have better things to do than looking for images on the internet, but I really am starting to become desperate. I've looked far and wide on both this website and other ones like it but I was never able to find one particular, explicit image.

Said explicit image must be a few years old and contains a single female character who appears to be a mix between a human and what I believe to be a seal. Kinda like a seal-mermaid for the lack of a better description. Her entire upper body and most of her lower body are visible in the image. She does not wear any clothing and is sitting outside during daytime, near the ocean (as far as I can remember).

Sadly, this and the fact that you can't find the image here on e621 are the only pieces of information I can give you guys, since it's been a few years since I've last seen it.

I really would appreciate the help if someone was able to find it again.

Not quite...her top half was that of an anthro and her bottom half was a seal like tail (like I said: kinda like a seal-mermaid).

And thanks for the suggestion but I've already looked through all of the relevant tags. That's why I am so certain that this image has not been uploaded to e621. However, should I ever manage to find it again, I will upload it immediately.

Try looking on other sites such as rule 34?

You might try keeping "selkie" search term in mind if you go hunting the web for it. That's sounding like the species (or close) that you're hunting.

Instead of littering the front page with yet another image-finding request thread, I figured I might include one in here too (Hope that's ok with you, OP).

I'm fairly sure at this point that it's not on e6, and in fact may have never have been, as my searching has been in vain (though I guess it's possible I just totally fucked up my searches). I've also tried searching around FA some but the tagging there is obviously super inconsistent and searching is often useless.

The picture I'm looking for has a duo of herm/dickgirl characters: one is a cetacean/dolphin of some sort on the left side of the frame, and the other is a feline(pretty sure it's a tiger) on the right side. They're sitting apart from each other on something like a couch or a bed and both are masturbating. I believe they're slightly turned inward towards the other, watching each other. I believe the feline on the right might even also be smoking or sucking on a lollipop or something. Can also recall that the feline was in possession of a feline_penis and matching balls. Overall technical quality of the art was pretty decent as well IIRC.

I originally thought the artist might be LDR, because I think the artistic fidelity/style was roughly in their range and they also have an intersex dolphin character, but I didn't spot it in their FA gallery.

Any other herm/intersex aficionados happen to recall the piece I'm talking about? Or really anyone at all remember seeing something similar before? Driving me crazy because I liked the cat in that pic :( I'm really surprised at how difficult it's been to find considering the rare combo of tiger and dolphin in the same pic, while both being intersex-female characters.

The woman in post #68268 seems to have a similar phenotype to the one I'm looking for (=she too is a kind of a furry seal-mermaid). However, the character I'm searching for had hair on her head. Plus, the pose and background were different but the image has certain similarities nonetheless.

I have a good feeling that we're slowly but surely coming closer to the correct image!
