I'm laughing at this because I'm permanently locked out of my 2-day old FA account (my email is toast, so no way to verify).

I could enter again to FA after several attempts and realizing of the forced reset. But still could log back in on the first try after changing my password.

Though, I honestly expected more security than a simple captcha during log in ._.

huh, looks like we can count kitsuneyoukai and xennos among those abandoning FA...this time.

at this point, seeing people abandon FA is about as surprising as hearing something horrible (yet totally predictable) has happened to FA. which is to say, not surprising in the slightest.

wow, wen ever see that many comments in one place in under 24 hours here. then again, e621isn't usually hit that hard by much of anything aside from the eternal threat of bugs and other such things.

It's just sad to see many artists abandoning FA for other art sites, mostly Furry Network now since it's open beta, while FA staff continues to patch up the sinking ship.

I might create an account on FN soon to follow artists but under current circumstances it won't let me register under my full username(bcuz it's over fking the character limit).

So it looks like it's still FA for me. and we ran out of nukes again

I wish those types of people who refuse to use IB just for that would just get over themselves and blacklist it. They "happily" share space with snuff, rape, torture, scat, etc artists (or are one of those themselves), but nude cubs, which rests in the same realm of fiction, and is arguably just as "taboo, morally/ethically wrong, etc" as most of the previously listed, is going too far...?

If it's true they're going to FN instead of IB because IB hosts cub, then that's pretty funny/ironic because doesn't FN explicitly state in their rules that they allow cub too?

IB was created because FA banned cub porn in 2011. That's why it's considered as a pedo hideout.

Actually no, no it wasn't. It started back in 2010, well before the ban. And the reason why people flocked there after the bans was because the admins at the time made it known that they allowed such content.

Looks like the website is frequented by some idiots then. I know this whole situation is pretty stupid and ridiculous, but there was this big message in a box on top of the page at the time for password resets

That personally took me 3 minutes to get mine reset. I don't know if that's because I'm more clever than the average, or because everyone else seems to have lost the ability to read notices

I'm assuming that the majority of people who can't get back in have lost access to the email they used to sign up to the site with.

Thanks FA thanks for not only fucking up and locking me out of my 3 year old account where I lost all of my favs and artists im subbed to but now for scaring off a good chunk of your users, users who I now have to go to multiple sites to keep up with instead of just the one
