-1. It could be confused for internal as well.

Same can be said with inside(internals/inside of the body) itself non the less we use it as the interior of buildings rather then the indoors tag.

PS: only 1 post out of the present 52+ posts applies to your reasoning

Nah, Inside means "Indoors," while Internal means "Internal view." You don't say "Inside view" that just sounds silly.

when did i say anything about a view???

What i am saying is that both interior and inside are exactly the same thing, people use both tags for the same thing. And both equally have the minimal risk of being mistaged for internals, because both inside and interior are also often used to describe internals irl.

PS:I havnt had a colonoscopy but i really wouldnt be surprised if there where some people that call the camera footage they get from the examination a inside view (of the intestines or colon)...

+1, just tried to submit the same alias.
Mostly identical in usage. Might result in a couple of mistags per year (such as car interiors), but that doesn't seem severe enough for disambiguation.

we've needed some inside/outside disambiguations for a while

Speaking of those, why exactly do we use them instead of 'indoors' and 'outdoors' (respectively)?

With a combined total of 100000 posts, that doesn't seem feasible. Nobody's going to sort through all that.

I agree. Those tags are much more intuitive.

It would be a huge workload, yes. But it's one we'll have to do eventually.

But , The "Link to alias" link seems to be broken. So, Isn't it not approved yet? I don't want to bump... but there's such a rude topic today...
