Just a note: Not everyone reads their comments, and not everyone can be bothered to answer a random comment. In that case it might be more efficient to actually send them a message directly and if they are using that for an icon on a public account, you messaging them and being formal about it is not going to make you seem like a creep (stop drooling and just ask). If you liked their music you could always sneak in a compliment about it, it might be subconsciously manipulative but if you are honest no one's gonna care if that wasn't your original motive.
