Topic: Salandit

Posted under Art Talk

"From the base of its tail, Salandit can emit both a toxic gas and flames. The gas has a sweet odor that causes dizziness. The female can also release pheromones that attract males of all species, including humans. Additionally, these pheromones may cause opponents to be controlled by this Pokémon's will. While it is not a powerful Pokémon, it is able to unbalance opponents with its cunning techniques."

Who will be the first to draw this Pokemon getting gangbanged by pheromone-induced males? (I wouldn't be surprised if such a picture already exists by the time I'm writing this post.)

I imagine it will be some kind of horrible backfire with a group of females raping a male Salandit.

Also, does anyone else think the mark on its back looks conspicuously similar to a cum stain?

I doubt it would be rape, since the pokemon controls those effected.

So it's more like mind control, hypnosis, or simply magic then? Cause last time I checked pheromones don't work that way :P

It's pokemon, they can have mind control pheromones.

I know interspecies breeding is a thing in Pokemon, but I'm surprised that GameFreak would go as far as including humans in the list of creatures that have the potential to lust after it.

Then again, this is the same company that strongly implied that humans mated with Pokemon in the past back in Gen IV.

I wonder if its potential later evolutions would be a human shaped Pokemon.
Maybe not according to how e621 tags things, but you seriously don't see how hypnotizing somebody into consenting to sex would be rape?

I was saying the male wouldn't be the one being raped, not the other way around. Take another look at the post I was replying to.

Hold the fucking phone. HOLD THE FUCKING PHONE.

Salandit females not only release toxic gases, they can also emit pheromones that attract males of all species, including Pokémon and humans. Inhaling these pheromones may cause opponents to be controlled by Salandit’s will.

This is cannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooon. A female pokemon controlling human trainers with pheromones is canon.

Well, I didn't know about that last part, but still DAMN. There is almost no ambiguity from real world knowledge or this fictional description that Salandit is down to fuck.

And since this generation will inevitably spawn an anime adaption, there will probably be an episode with Salandit "attracting" humans. More than one episode if Team Rocket gets a Salandit.

I got mixed up with Chessax's post because I'd just woken up and the Pokedex entry specifically states that the pheromone is a quality of female Salandits.

Well, I guess I should learn to read :P

Well, to be fair, nobody's going to just allow it to be a female-only trait. Sure, realistically, a male creature's pheromones are weaker, and it canonically says that the female's is strong enough to effect both, but people will have the male's do so too.

Oh? What implied that? I've never heard of this before.

Sinnoh Folk Story 3
-There once were Pokémon that
-became very close to humans.
-There once were humans and Pokémon
-that ate together at the same table.
-It was a time when there existed no
-differences to distinguish the two.

In the Japanese version, this actually goes as far as straight up saying they married one another.

At least it's cool that this rare fetish (pheromones, love potion, etc.) gets something to focus on. Not easy to find good related content of it.

Suggestion: Shouldn't aphrodisiac be tagged,too?

How would we tell just by looking if it's an aphrodisiac? Even "Pheremones" would be "Musk" by TWYS.

Definitely Taking advantage of this knowledge sometime.

Ah- thank ya ouo

I had seen that but didnt take those implications from it, though with the Japanese text I see it.

In reality I'd think it would be rape as you have no choice in that matter if it's along the lines of hypnosis and having no control.
You might as well be messing around with someone who's unconscious in that case, but in the context of E621 I'd agree.

(edit) I find it odd how sometimes if I use a comma it wont register the space I put in between the words. Fixing it by double spacing however when it does happen.

That's a known visual issue. The spaces are there, but until you refresh the page your browser won't show them. Quoting an http:// has a similar visual bug where it cuts off the rest of the message until refreshing.
EDIT: also happens if you just type it into your own message apparently, without it being part of somebody's quote.

Read above, I'm saying the male emitting the pheremones wouldn't be the one raped, as he'd be wanting it.

That makes more sense.

Local psyker here to remind you hormones and pheromones fall more within the purview of body-control than mind control.

Pfft.

Pfft.

There's a point to this, but--

Additionally, these pheromones may cause opponents to be controlled by this Pokémon's will.

In this particular case, they're mind control pheromones.

If the "victim" gets horny from it - it's an aphrodisiac

definition

An aphrodisiac is a substance that increases the libido. It stimulates the sexual desire, increase the sense of lust and/or cause reactions of the genitals

I guess it's a visible case most of the times, so TWYS shouldn't be a problem ;-)
