Topic: Disembodied Genitalia & First Person Perspective

Posted under General

Not sure if this has been asked before but i need some clarification on character count and gender tags.

I assume disembodied Genitalia, hands and feet are ignored for the sake of not make taging pointless but what do you do when a large section of the hips are visible in addition of the genitalia or the whole lower body for example, are they counted as another person or no?

disembodied_hands, etc are counted as characters. disembodied_penis is counted also as male. If the penis is clearly attached to a body, it is tagged with faceless_male instead of disembodied penis and still counts as a character.

If one or two characters are clearly the main focus of the post, also add the solo_focus or duo_focus tag as needed.

Generally, when a character is partially visible but not including the head, we use faceless_male, faceless_female, and I suppose faceless_intersex though nobody seems to tag that.
They're definitely considered characters at that point, so a pic with one fully shown character as well as a faceless one (that's actually involved) should be tagged as solo_focus + duo.

I'm not totally sure what happens when it's a first_person_view with more than just some hands and a cock (for example) visible, like a midriff and legs, but I guess it makes sense that this would count towards the total character count too.

Huh, this really true? I always forget about the official rules on that one. D:

Got a feeling they've tended to change from time to time too.

Yeah, tentacles are the only thing not considered as characters (unless they are shown to be attached to a creature of some kind).

The other related tag to these is unseen_character which also doesn't count as a character as no part of the character is actally in the image. This is usually tagged when cum enters from the side of an image or a shadow of another character can be seen in the image.

I remember a while back there was also a discussion about how to tell between a tentacle and a tail in some cases but I'd need to hunt that topic out as I can't remember where it was off the top of my head (or what decision was made).
