Topic: general discretion about avoid posting

Posted under General

Hi. I'm going through the tags "avoid_posting -conditional_dnp" to go through the ones that don't have special permission to be on here, and tag the ones with conditional_dnp that do. A lot of the posts list special permissions from admins in the descriptions and whatnot, some posts have "e621.net exclusive" in the picture.

The problem is, some posts don't have any permissions listed, and it gets confusing because they've already been admin approved.

Example: post #16507
Uploaded from Softpaw Magazine, which is DNP. Doesn't list any permissions.

I flag stuff like that, but it's going to be pretty annoying to go through and find out whether or not it has permissions. I don't really know why I made this post, but I guess just check DNP-List before uploading and if there are permissions you should probably list 'em. Thank.

Oh my god. I can't believe I forgot about that. Thanks for reminding me.

Commercial works, such as Softpaws, have a 2 year waiting time after release before they can be posted here.

No, Softpaw is fully DNP. See the 'avoid posting from these publishers' section.

I'm not sure why post #16507 hasn't been deleted.

Assuming I'm not remembering incorrectly, that image was provided as a stand-alone piece in one of the issues, but artist retained full rights on it and it stayed up in their public gallery. So it wasn't treated as Softpaw art even though it showed up in one of their collections.

Could be wrong though. Memory is a bit fuzzy on it.

That's probably right, since it does have a Furaffinity source. ...dead one, unfortunately, so no way to check for sure.
