I'm not sure how I report such a thing to mods/admins quickly but deleting them individually clearly isn't going to work. Is there a way to mass delete these or a way to report this to a mod?

We've got a tool for this (thanks Chaser!). All you need to do is report the user and we can take care of them.

o_o wait, so you can just go there and hit revert to remove them as well? ugh, i went through slight lag killing that swastika 1 note at a time. >.<

oh and is there a way to search for posts with or above a certain number of notes? would make finding this guys graffiti easier.

Huh, yesterday I tried to remove 400 notes by reverting back to the first note on the list and it didn't do anything. I see HotUnderTheCollar managed to on that Shin post, and he probably doesn't have Chaser's tool _{(...you know)}.

So exactly how does this work?

I managed to yesterday night. Was up to 2 AM deleting that note shitstorm. Chaser's tool handled most of them while other users such as myself did it manually. I was on IRC chat when that happened.

If it happens again. We must be ready for it.

But... how? I mean, manually? That's not possible, it would take forever. Especially because with 300-400 notes stapled over an image, the page lags like a mofo every time you try to even click on one. :/

Sent you a copy of the tool via DMail, also revert doesn't delete notes, it only undoes changes to it:
EG:
User 1 creates note with "Hello"
User 2 edits note to says "Hello!"
User 3 edits note to say "FUCK"
User reverts note, note will now say "Hello!"

Oh, right! And since these notes are all treated separately (even though they all say the same), it's not like tags, where reverting throws the entire page back to a certain state because there's only one tag field.

sure it is. took a while but i cleared one swastika away manually. think that pic i cleaned had around 256+ notes when i got to it. was a tad bit of lag but nothing too bad just tedious is all.

just glad i didn't try taking on one of those 900+ pics that popped up. now THAT would have lagged badly.

I just have good wifi and I made sure I didn't have each note overlap one another.

Found a few like that and helped delete them as well.

...This won't end, not unless there's a note limit established for Members. Because it's clear that an exploit has been discovered, and this spammer will simply persist.
