Is this section still used at all?
I can't find any links to it (I had it bookmarked).

(Why does this have 0 replies)
AFAIK there are/were plans to add some more site tutorials for different features (sets, tagging, wiki, posting, sourcing, etc),
but that seems to be on-hold/postponed indefinitely

I'd nominate mirroring forum #169987 - Saving images properly, a public service announcement. (Aug. 2015) and other similar forum posts onto there as well, so they can be freely updated at will
for a start; along with anything else others feel may benefit from having a tutorial page

Any chance of taking them off-hold? The wiki help page should probably be on that list. Access to pre-made templates would be nice since then all users would have to do is fill in the blanks.
I tried starting a discussion on a more standardized format on wiki pages here but got no responses. I was later told about the wiki help page which helped a bit (which makes sense, it is a help page after all).

So we just need to find more links to put on that page, and maybe link to the howto:index from more places?

Pages are only as useful as they are accessible. The howto:index definitely needs to be more accessible.

+1, that forum post in particular really needs to be easier to find. I know about it and I still have trouble finding it.

Sounds good to me, yeah

Another possible canidate candidate is a Sets tutorial
but we'd need to figure out exactly what counts as effective Set use in the first place
