Is there anyway to pull down the tags/pool collections for images that were taken down? I have copies of them and can generate hashes for them, but don't necessarily have all the tag information and the pool information to group things together. Is there any way to pull that info down?

Probably not in any automated manner. The API hides posts that are marked as deleted, even if you request them with status:any. Pool information is likely a loss as well.

You can still view the tags applied to an image by viewing the post page. Searching for md5:md5goeshere status:any and it will give you the post page, which contains the tags.

The pool info seems to be there too, although they are all just boxes labeled 'deleted'. Is the tag info automatically deleted after a period of time, or will it be kept indefinitely?

Tag info stays around forever, or at least as long as the site does.
