Aliasing butt_focus → butt_shot

Reason:

Both tags seem to be for the same thing. I'm going with butt_shot since that already has a description.

EDIT: The tag alias butt_focus -> butt_shot (forum #231824) has been rejected by @Millcore.

butt_shot's wiki literally says "A picture whose focus is the subject's buttocks"...so yeah...I'd say they're the same.

I've just noticed now that the wiki has a separation between crotch_shot (an image that exclusively shows genitalia) and genital_focus (an image that focuses on the genitalia while also showing the rest of the person). Butt shot, meanwhile, just encompasses all of that. Would it be better to split the two butt tags up?

The difference is...both those tags are rather robust...~700 for crotch_shot and ~500 for gential_focus. Meanwhile butt_shot has ~1,200 posts and butt_focus only has 18.

So, yeah, you could argue for a stronger distinction between the two tags, but then you'd also be giving yourself the job of sorting through 1,200 posts and deciding which qualifies as a butt_shot and which qualifies as simply butt_focus.

Yes? Everything follows that standard, with the exception of headshot_portrait instead of head_shot. Because those got mixed up with being shot in the head.

Edit: Oh, and boob_shot doesn't follow the naming standards. It's pretty much the only boob_* tag left. But otherwise those groups seem solid.

Every time I look up the headshot tag, there are over a dozen headshot_portrait images at the top of the list.

Great to say, but in practice no one is bothering to tag butt_focus...probably should be added as a tagging project.

Not sure if it's worth a project.

It's definitely less useful of the two, because it's possible to use tag combos to get similar results: presenting_hindquarters rear_view looking_at_viewer looking_back, for instance. Then again, that doesn't catch everything.

And considering the complaints about how useless the butt tag is by itself, it might be beneficial to use butt_focus more. Hm. I guess I'll tag a few hundred of them, we'll see if it picks up after that.
