Topic: If you were to introduce someone to furry porn what images would you show them first?

If for whatever reason you wanted to introduce someone to furry porn what images or videos would you show them?

Me personally I'd start with something questionable and work my way up to explicit. Or I'll show them what got me into it which is comics.

Very much-likely this one! I believe it would make a great first impression!

I'd give then a rough breakdown of common furry fetishes as a primer and then unleash them on FA.

this feels like a question you would get on Furry QI

Lol I guess I should have specified that the intent is to get them into it... unless they're into that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My suggestion remains unchanged.

why not just show them CoC, TiTS, and FoE?

I feel that this would be a good one:

It's nothing too hardcore and I'd imagine that they'd find it more cute than anything.

I'd introduce them to Drake_Fenwick. What better way to introduce a community to someone than to introduce it with comedy dashed in?

They're also one of the first artists I was introduced to, way back when, so totally not biased.

I recommended Corruption of Champions to one of my friends. No word back on that specifically, but I'm also not usually one talking about porn and stuff, so it's possible he just doesn't bring it up because of that.

I can't imagine discussing furry porn with a non-furry unless it was supposed to be funny.

I mean, you could always say "Who wouldn't have sex with a squirrel girl" and if they look all disgusted, say you were talking about the superhero, who's just a bucktoothed human with a squirrel tail that can speak with squirrels. Much less overpowered of a hero, she is.

Cheesegrater without a doubt, if they are still talking to you then they are genuinely interested.

Unless they are actually into cheesegraters then it would be best to make your escape.

sparkledogs.

There's that term again, I've seen it a few times yet I have no idea what it means but I've seen it used negatively, is it something bad?

It's basically used to refer to a character who's got several colors along their body or hair, among species where that's not the norm. It can be okay or even good if used sparingly, but:

It's also easily overdone.

I'd probably let them take a gander at one of my more tame sketchbooks first (just pin ups and pokemon/ videogame stuff) and if they're into it tell them about this site and its black list functions.

I see, thank you for answering my question.

Looking into the wiki for sparkledog reveals that we apparently only apply it to canines? I've seen the term used in comments when a character has extra colors regardless of species, but considering it actually implies canine I suppose tagging wise that's the limit.

Why not just ask the person what they might be interested in that isn't human x human and then find them some top-shelf artist who produces that kind of art? Ask them what franchises they like and try to find good porn of it. Also, show them good art with significantly different subject matter and get their feedback to establish an understanding of their preferences.

Alternatively, find the person some good human x whatever art where the human is the same sex and orientation of your potential recruit.

A non-furry friend is using one of these as his current desktop wallpaper, maybe the first one. I don't remember.

i would show them the less controversial ones
no cubes, no voregore, no bestiality

Guess that means this one is right out, then?

But yeah. I'd point them in the direction of the tame/tasteful artists, like Iskra or f-r95. You could even get them started with Iskra's SFW stuff, which is as abundant as the porn.

Uh, I wouldn't. Unsolicited sharing of fetishes is not acceptable behavior.

Indeed. But sometimes it is solicited. In that case...
