I sent a message regarding a deleted post requested it to be reconsidered 6 days ago, and I've yet to receive a reply.

Is that normal for this site? I don't want to feel like I'm rushing them and I certainly don't want to spam their inbox in hopes of getting a reply.

It probably depends on the mod, their personal life schedule, their priorities, and a bunch of other factors that often are uncontrollable.

I would be patient and wait a little more, but if it's been what you feel is a while and you want a response, I'd probably send a follow up message myself. If that doesn't work I might considering contacting a second mod. That's just me though!

You only had two images deleted: One for being a lesser size than an alternate source (That's very much straightforward, we go for the best available version of the image--neither upscaled nor downscaled), and the other was deleted by Automod, which is a bot. You can't get a response from a bot.

All I can say is that I saw that post and could only see it as human, all robot like parts looked like costume and makeup.

Oh, that post. I wanted to respond but forgot about doing so, my apologies.

As Mairo said the post itself looks too much like a generic human with makeup and a minor costume on, therefor it's irrelevant to us and will stay deleted.

But the character in question is a robot. There's plenty of other pictures with that character.
