Requested feature overview description.
There's currently a weird distinction between artist pages (e.g. here) and their corresponding wiki pages (e.g. here). The artist page has an "Active" field, a list of URLs and a "Notes" field. The wiki page just duplicates the contents of the "Notes" field.
Artist pages have more information, and they're what's linked to if you click the ? next to the artist's name in a post's tag list. Therefore, wiki pages matching an artist's name could probably just redirect to the corresponding artist page.
One problem is that tag aliases and implications should still be displayed, which artist pages currently do not.
Why would it be useful?
The current separation is confusing and redundant.
